The fastest way to verify your setup is to place a real order from your live store. You can refund or cancel it afterwards in Shopify.
1

Open a product on your live storefront

Don’t use Shopify’s theme preview — use the actual live URL. Theme previews don’t load app embeds the same way.
2

Add to cart and click the Sendway button

Sendway adds a sibling button next to every native Shopify checkout / Buy-Now button. The popup should open in less than a second.
Can’t see the button? Open Online Store → Themes → Customize → Theme settings → App embeds and confirm Sendway is switched on and saved.
3

Fill in the popup as a buyer would

  • Enter name, phone, and email
  • Switch between the Office and Address tabs to confirm both work
  • Pick a delivery method — the price comes live from Shopify
  • Click Place order
4

Confirm the order in Shopify admin

The order should appear in Shopify admin → Orders within a few seconds, tagged with sendway and the chosen courier and office. On Pro, it also shows up in Sendway → Orders for label printing.
Order in Shopify + correct shipping address + correct delivery method = you’re ready to launch.
Want to cancel the test order? Use Shopify’s standard cancel + refund flow. If you have a Pro courier account connected, also cancel the label there.

What to test before going live

Open the popup on a phone (or your browser’s mobile preview). Most stores in the region get 70%+ of orders from mobile.
The popup shows different courier brands per country. Test at least one order per active shipping zone.
If you use both, place one order with each to confirm the right Shopify payment methods appear.
On Pro, walk through the bump checkboxes and confirm the bump variant lands on the final order.

Next: customize the popup

Branding, languages, hide-native-buttons, and more.
