The fastest way to verify your setup is to place a real order from your live store. You can cancel or refund it afterwards in Shopify. The setup guide on the app’s Home page marks this step done after your first popup order.
1

Open a product on your live storefront

Don’t use Shopify’s theme preview — use the actual live URL. Theme previews don’t load app embeds the same way.
2

Add to cart and click the Sendway button

Sendway adds a sibling button next to every native Shopify checkout / Buy-Now button. The popup should open right away.
Can’t see the button? Open Online Store → Themes → Customize → Theme settings → App embeds and confirm Sendway is switched on and saved. Also check you’ve picked a plan and turned on a delivery method for your country.
3

Fill in the popup as a buyer would

  • Enter name, phone, and email
  • Switch between the office and address options to confirm both work
  • Search for a courier office by city or street and pick one — the price next to each courier comes live from your Shopify shipping rates
  • Click the confirm button
4

Confirm the order arrived

The order appears in Shopify admin → Orders within a few seconds, tagged sendway, with the chosen courier and office on it — and on the Sendway → Orders page, ready for label printing.
Order in Shopify + correct delivery details + correct price = you’re ready to launch.
Want to cancel the test order? Use Shopify’s standard cancel + refund flow. If you already sent it to a courier from the Orders page, also click Cancel label there.

What to test before going live

Open the popup on a phone (or your browser’s mobile preview). Most stores in the region get 70%+ of orders from mobile.
The popup shows different courier brands per country. Test at least one order per active shipping zone.
If you enabled both, place one order to an office and one to an address to confirm both flows and prices look right.
If you switched Mode to Direct checkout, confirm the order is created straight from the popup and that the card option (if enabled) hands off to Shopify checkout correctly.

Next: customize the popup

Branding, fields, checkout mode, and more.
