By default, Sendway adds its button next to every native Shopify checkout / Buy-Now button — both stay visible so buyers can choose. Once you’re confident the popup is the better experience, you can hide the natives entirely and leave only the Sendway button. Open Checkout settings → Methods, scroll to Hide native checkout buttons, switch it on, save.

What buyers see

Both buttons appear next to each other on product pages, cart pages, and the floating cart drawer. The buyer chooses which to click.
Test the popup thoroughly before turning this on. While Sendway has a built-in safety net (if the popup script ever fails to load, the native buttons stay clickable), the goal of this toggle is to remove the fallback from view — so any popup bug becomes much more visible to your buyers.Recommended order:
  1. Install Sendway and configure your delivery methods
  2. Place a real test order through the popup
  3. Test on mobile and desktop
  4. Then switch this toggle on

When you should turn it on

High COD share

If most of your orders are cash on delivery, the popup is the path you actually want buyers to take. Two buttons creates decision friction.

Single clear CTA

Conversion best practice is one primary action per page. Hide the native to keep that.

When you might leave it off

Mixed buyer base

If a meaningful share of buyers prefer prepaid Shopify checkout, the side-by-side option is fine.

A/B testing

Keep both buttons visible while you compare conversion before deciding.
